I was tempted to do it again when I got "The Hidden Land" by Bela Fleck and the Flecktones. Bela plays banjo (no, really!), but this CD also channels Dave Brubeck, funk, and world music. Gorgeous, overall! What I feel like combining it with is some original Brubeck, a track by my favorite Bay Area psychedelic band of the '60s, Quicksilver Messenger Service ("Gold and Silver" was inspired by Brubeck's "Take Five"), and something from Wilco's live CD "Kicking Television" -- because their new guitarist sounds like he's channeling one of the Quick's twin leads, the late great John Cipollina.
