Email – a warning

When sending email, always doublecheck the address you are pasting into the address field before sending the email. It makes life so much…simpler.

    Agreed and agreed.

    I’ll add that autocomplete is not always your friend. I once, a number of years ago, accidentally sent an e-mail to Arthur C. Clarke that was meant for someone in my company…

    Have to say, I actually disabled autocomplete a while ago for much the same reason. Sending email to people with similar addresses when you have autocomplete can be embarrassing, awkward or annoying. I managed to send an invoice to Locus Reviewers rather than Locus once, which puzzled everyone.
