Nervous, me?

Posted by on May 9, 2007

I’m not saying I’m nervous, but there’s about a week to go till the deadline hits for stories to be in for my next anthology project, Eclipse, and so far I’ve received exactly one story. Now, it’s a fine story. I like it very much. I bought it, and I think you’ll like it too. But. One story is a chapbook, not an anthology. There are going to be more stories, right? Yes? Of course there are. Definitely. There always are. Yes. Definitely. Um.

Is the anthology invitation only? I can’t see any information about it on the Nightshade Books website. Nothing on Ralan either.

It is invitation only. It’s the first in a series, and I had to put it together fairly quickly. Depending on how things go, I’ll probably (though not definitely) open the second volume to general submissions for a very short period. If I decide to do that, I’ll make sure the information gets into all of the various market news places.

They’ll start pouring in. Don’t worry too much! But I’d email everyone a prod, if I were you (if you haven’t done so already).

Fair enough. I can’t wait to read it!

Hope your contributors come through for you.

As a loyal Datlowian I have to wonder what’s going on :)

    Sorry you’re enduring stress…
