I’m interested in your love for Pratchett’s stuff – I’ve seen you rave about his books a lot on your journal. What’s the appeal?

That is very funny coincidence, in that I, too, was feeling I needed a Discworld fix 2 weeks ago. I have read, and also own, all of Terry’s books, so I sought out one I did not care that much for when I first read it–The Thief of Time–and enjoyed it a lot, almost like reading it for the first time. I wonder why when I read it in 2001 that I did not like it that much? Dave G.

Here is the advantage in being behind the curve with Discworld (I am not quite halfway through the series). I have plenty when I get a Pratchett craving.

Which, come to think of it, I am overdue to continue my exploration of the oeuvre…
