    Just picked up my copy of the Chabon book from the library this afternoon. Will tackle it as soon as I finish Graham Robb’s exemplary DISCOVERY OF FRANCE (from the author of the best Rimbaud bio ever).

    Haven’t seen this kind of book (YIDDISH POLICEMEN)with crossover appeal in awhile. Hope it lives up to its lofty reputation.
