Jonathan, I encourage you to contact the Awards Coordinator at coordinator@aurealisawards.com to discuss your needs. As with last year, we can arrange for copies to be shared among judging panels (especially if you submit well before the deadline) and Ron can also assist with copying and distributing individual story print outs.

I would like to nominate four stories I published by Australians during the eligibility period, but doubt very much if I’ll be sending hard copies. I’ve queried as to the possibility for overseas eligible material. I’ll see what they say.

Yeah I was going to say that there is always the print out and mail option. But that also involves a cost (paper and ink) and requires a lot of fiddle time to get this out there. Compared to flicking off an electronic copy which takes 3 secs and costs nothing.

I guess too, in terms of packages, publishers will then wait till they have all their relevant stories out and published before mailing them off – leaving a run of much of the material to be considered in October instead of across the year in an organised fashion.
