And as widely reported, Three Winter’s Tales by Greer Gilman and Ooku: The Inner Chambers by Fumi Yoshinaga were joint winners of the 2009 Tiptree Award. I was delighted to see that Maureen F. McHugh’s fine novelette “Useless Things” and Caitlin Kiernan’s powerful “Galapagos”, both from Eclipse Three, also made the Tiptree honor list. My sincere congratulations to both writers.
