Guidelines for the podcast

Coode Street Productions produces two podcast series which are distributed over the same podcast channel.

The Coode Street Podcast

The Coode Street Podcast is a bi-weekly, hour-long podcast hosted by Jonathan Strahan and Gary K. Wolfe that has been appearing reasonably regularly since March 2010. It is an ongoing casual conversation between two friends about the nature of science fiction (among other things). It features occasional guests, and erratic topics, and usually comes out on Sundays. The Coode Street Podcast has been nominated for nine Hugo Awards, two World Fantasy Awards, the BSFA Award, and six Ditmar Awards. It won the Hugo Award and Ditmar Award, which really was very nice and quite unexpected.

Ten Minutes with…

Ten Minutes with… was a daily series of ten to twenty-minute long podcast discussions between Jonathan or Gary and a guest about what the guest had been reading and what books they had coming out in the world. The podcast series launched in March 2020 and ran through early 2021. It appeared every day except for days on which the Coode Street Podcast was released.

Because both podcasts shared the same channel, they had a similar distribution. The Coode Street Podcast has over a thousand subscribers and episodes have been downloaded up to eight thousand times per episode. Ten Minutes with... episodes are downloaded by approx. a thousand listeners. There have been close to 4 million downloads of over 550 episodes of all of Coode Street Productions podcasts.

Coode Street does not review books but does discuss them. If you would like us to see your book and consider it for discussion please send books or ARCS to:
