Ah. I’ll edit the link. There is a photo. I’m going to see Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. This is a big deal. I’ve been a Springsteen fan since high school, and he’s never toured (and probably will never tour) where I live. This is the first, and probably only, chance I’ll ever get to see him perform live with the E Street Band. So, it’s a bit of a deal.
I hope you have a wonderful time. I drove from Chicago to South Bend to see Springsteen in the late 70s (I think it was 78, but memory fades), and the trip wound up being a hassle, but I was never sorry I’d gone. The concert was outstanding, and Springsteen maintained the most astounding energy level all the way through both sets. He was actually better on stage than in the recordings of that era. Probably he jumps around less than he did 30 years ago, but I’ll bet he’s just as wonderful.
Hi Susan, Everything I’ve heard about Springsteen’s shows is pretty damn awesome. It’s too much, on this tour, to hope for “Jungleland”, but I’m going to be pretty happy. It should be a real experience.
