The second Eclipse Online story for February 2013, “On the Arrival of the Paddle-Steamer on the Docks of V” by Peter M. Ball, has just been published. A powerful fantasy novelette, I think it’s possibly the best story I’ve read from Ball. As always, Kathleen Jennings provides us with another wonderful illustration.
The first Eclipse Online story for February 2013, â€œSanctuaryâ€ by Susan Palwick, has just been published. This disturbing novelette about a group of survivors of sorts stuck in a dark future features one of Kathleen Jennings darkest illustrations for us yet. Palwick is a wonderful writer, and I’m delighted to be able to feature her work on Eclipse Online this month.
Susan Palwick’s new novel Mending the Moon is due out from Tor in May.
The second Eclipse Online story for 2013, â€œThe Amnesia Helmetâ€ by F. Brett Cox, has just been published. This compelling story about a young girl who in inspired by a Buck Rogers movie is beautifully illustrated by Kathleen Jennings. Cox is a fine short story writer, and I’m very pleased that I am able to feature his work onÂ Eclipse Online this month.
The first Eclipse Online story for 2013, “The Advocate” by Genevieve Valentine, has just been published. The touching story of the first Martian ambassador to Earth, it’s once again wonderfully illustrated by Kathleen Jennings. Valentine is one of our best writers and I’m delighted to be able to feature her on Eclipse Online this month.
The latest Eclipse story, “The Memcordist” by Lavie Tidhar has just been published, along with an absolutely perfect illustration by Kathleen Jennings!. Itâ€™s a terrific story and one Iâ€™m very proud to have been able to publish as part of Eclipse Online. We are also featuring “The Continuity“, an annotated bibliography of Lavie’s work with the story.
