Well, I’ve posted the final contents for Eclipse on the main Eclipse page. I’m delighted that Eileen Gunn, Bruce Sterling, and Garth Nix now complete the book. I think it’s come together remarkably well, especially given where things were a while ago. I’ve got to write some story notes and get the manuscript in pretty darn quick, but it’s almost a wrap. This puppy will be on the shelves in October. I hope to do something to promote it at World Fantasy in November. I’ll keep you clued in about that.

I think I need a new Terry Pratchett book. Not want, mind you. Need. Only a few months to go.

I’ve put together a page for Eclipse here on the site. It’s only an interim web address, but it gives a tentative table of contents and other information. I’ll get more online as soon as I can.

Just heard that my friend and Locus colleague Liza Trombi had a beautiful baby girl on Friday. Apparently Kyra Paige was born at the civilised hour of 2.30pm and was 7 pounds 3 ounces. She is, of course, perfect. My warmest wishes to Liza and Matt. Kyra is the third June girl at Locus, following Teddy and Jessica. A trio!

Gary Kemble over at ABC’s Articulate blog has a piece about Orbit Australia and the appointment of new publisher Bernadette Foley. I provided a comment, which you should feel free to ignore. The rest is excellent, though.
