And we’re at it again. Taking a question from the blog comments, Gary sat down in Chicago on a Friday evening with a glass of red wine and I sat down on a Saturday morning with a cup of coffee, and we discussed the top anthologies and collections of the past 20 years. As usual, we didn’t really discuss it properly, but we did wander far and wide from there.
Jonathan and Garry,
Good conversation. Thanks for taking my question.
I have a follow up question.
You both mentioned the novella as your favorite format for sf. Perhaps,
next time you can talk about which novellas should be read and, why so
few are published anymore.
Great podcast as always. Funnily enough there will be an anthology with Lucius Shepard and Jim Butcher in it edited by Ellen Datlow. I forgot the title but it also has stuff by John Crowley, Jeff Ford, Melissa Marr and others. Interesting mix.
Jay: That is “Naked City: Tales of Urban Fantasy” edited by Ellen Datlow, due from St. Martin’s in July.
